Dysnomia — Alpha & Strategy Notes¶
Who this is for: You've already skimmed the Player's Guide. You understand that your LAU is you, that a QING is a venue, that VITUS comes from Code() and H2O comes from WAR. You want to know how to play well.
Everything here is distilled from the technical docs, which are distilled from the flattened Solidity at github.com/busytoby/atropa_pulsechain. Every numeric claim links back to the contract doc it came from.
How to read this site¶
- Start with a cheat sheet. Constants, caps & limits, timing windows, and power formulas are dense tables you'll reference constantly.
- Pick a theme. Economic, Power, Territory, Venues, Timing, Meta. Each folder has 3 strategy pages. Pick the one matching the outcome you're optimizing for.
- Follow the cross-connects. The strategies that actually matter span multiple contracts. Each page ends with a "Where it cross-connects" block pointing to the strategies in adjacent themes.
The four strategic truths¶
These show up over and over. Read them as assumptions the rest of the site leans on.
- Volume beats whale on chat-MAI. Chat rewards are hard-capped at 1 of the venue's token per message (see
CHOA.Chat). Two quick messages earn more than one fat message. - Yuan is dominated by YUE and LAU, not wallet. Yuan =
wallet + 10 × LAU + 40 × YUE(CHOA). Where you park the token matters more than how much you hold. - Entropy drift is the enemy of predictable power. QI, MAI, XIA, XIE, ZI, and PANG all divide by Entropy. Every reaction you trigger bumps Entropy, so the game has an implicit cost to churn you might not expect.
- Meridian[13] and Meridian[20] are silent cliffs. Holdings of H2O and VITUS are capped against these meridian values; exceed them and you spill to WORLD or burn.
Every strategy page is downstream of one or more of those four.
House rules for this site¶
- No invented numbers. Every cap, prime, TTL, divisor, and formula is sourced to a file in
../../technical/docs/.... - Strategies marked
(inferred)are reasoned from mechanism, not from an explicit statement in the docs. Treat them as hypotheses, not rules. - No Solidity code blocks. If you need a signature, click through to the technical doc.
- No price talk. Tokens are gameplay mechanics.
Where to go next¶
- Greedy player → Economic: Sinks & Sources
- Power-builder → Power: Soeng Chain Optimization
- Landlord → Territory: Proximity & Geometry
- Venue operator → Venues: Cover-Charge Tuning
- Timing nerd → Timing: Pole & Ring
- Optimizer → Meta: DSS Bundling
Or just open the constants cheat sheet and start skimming.
